Navarro Silvinton
Is a Christian Paladin with moral fiber and a determination to protect the innocent against assaults from evil, monsters, and sorcery. But he wasn’t always a defender of good. In his sorted past he was a brawling sailor whose only passion was to drink, conquer women, and excel in every fighting technique his martial and weapons’ masters instructed him.
However, his grandfather paid Navarro visits in ports he would moor. In these times, Navarro heard tales of battles his grandfather had been in. What intrigued him were references to forthcoming skirmishes. He was a warrior. One day, his grandfather unsheathed his majestic blade, The Sword of the Lord, which awed Navarro. Briefly Navarro handled it, but it was quickly taken back. No one with an impure heart had ever wielded it.
The final time Navarro would ever see his grandfather, he was told he would receive the Sword of the Lord as his own. Navarro was excited at first until he was handed a Holy Bible. Out of deference to his grandfather, he read it nominally. But the more he read, the more he was captivated. His time in the Bible increased. His time with arrogant weapons’ masters decreased. The Word of God revealed his need for Jesus Christ as Savior. After seeking the Lord’s direction for his life, he met a paladin mentor Salvatore and became a paladin himself, dedicated to protecting what’s right and opposing all that’s wicked. Because of his past lifestyle, he vowed to never let his heart be influenced by a woman. His resolve is about to be challenged on every front |
