Navarro Silvinton

Is a Christian Paladin with moral fiber and a determination to protect the innocent against assaults from evil, monsters, and sorcery.  But he wasn’t always a defender of good.  In his sorted past he was a brawling sailor whose only passion was to drink, conquer women, and excel in every fighting technique his martial and weapons’ masters instructed him. 
               
However, his grandfather paid Navarro visits in ports he would moor.  In these times, Navarro heard tales of battles his grandfather had been in.  What intrigued him were references to forthcoming skirmishes.  He was a warrior.  One day, his grandfather unsheathed his majestic blade, The Sword of the Lord, which awed Navarro.  Briefly Navarro handled it, but it was quickly taken back. No one with an impure heart had ever wielded it.

Candace Veldercrantz

Is the spirited daughter of Baron Kelt.  When she was a young girl her mother was murdered.  Since that time her father raised her and meticulously trained her in self-defense and fighting techniques.  Kelt didn’t want her to perish as her mother had.  But as the years passed, Candace excelled even her father’s expectations of her.  She had blossomed into a woman of stunning beauty and stalwart character.  Her spiritual mentor, the Captain of the Elite Guard Battalion Simeon, assumed responsibility to teach Candace in the Word of God, guide her courtly mannerisms, and to be her confidante since her father had turned from his faith in Christ.  Baron Kelt loved her dearly and wanted the best for her.  His penchant for the royal lifestyle has him sending invitations for princely suitors near and far.  The incessant visits of self-boasting princes tests Candace’s patience, but one suitor wants more than her hand.  He wants her soul.
